Tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander brings a seasoned veteran's proficiency and poise. As he has on his four previous Milestone albums as a leader, the 34-year-old saxophone player brings an assured and mature musical vision, gracefully sidestepping the novelties and trends that have come to the fore in so much contemporary jazz marketing.
He has played with Ron Carter, Kenny Barron, Cedar Walton, Nicholas Payton, Eddie Henderson, Charles Earland, and many others.

Master-drummer Eliot Zigmund has built an impressive body of work that is underscored by his extraordinary technical skills, his penchant for heartfelt melodies and the undeniable chemistry he achieves with his bandmates. He has played and recorded with the Bill Evans Trio during the 70s and with the Michel Petrucciani Trio in the 80s. He has also toured and recorded with some of the greatest musicians of the contemporary jazz scene such as Jim Hall, John Abercombie, Joe Lovano, Gary Peacock, Stan Getz, Pat Metheny, and many others.

Pianist Eric Niceberg is an internationally acclaimed jazz composer who has some major achievements. He is a leader of a successful group that combines Yemenite folk songs with Latin arrangements, which results an absolutely unique and interesting new sound. Some of the musicians that Niceberg has performed with include Pat Metheny, Adam Nussbaum, Arnie Lawrence, Walter Blanding and many others.

He has been a longtime member of groups led by Philly Joe Jones, Chet Baker, Michel Petrucciani, and Elvin Jones, as well as the Mingus Dynasty and currently, the Mingus Big Band.
